Membership

Shopcashback.co.uk will only accept one account per household. You must be 16 years of age or over and a resident of the UK (including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man) to become a member of shopcashback.co.uk and earn cashback.

Any shopcashback.co.uk members who are found to be claiming cashback as a result of fraudulent transactions shall have their membership terminated without notice and any cashback contained in your account will not be paid.

We reserve the right to refuse membership or to suspend or delete your account without notice at any time. You have the right to cancel your membership at any time.

If an account is found to be registered by a member who already has another account the account may be terminated without notice and any earnings contained will not be paid out to the member. If an account is found to be registered by a non-UK resident the account may be terminated without notice and any earnings contained will not be paid out to the member.

Cashback

Shopcashback.co.uk members are invited to earn cashback rewards only from the merchants listed on shopcashback.co.uk. The cashback amount will be either a percentage of the transaction amount (not including VAT where applicable) or a set amount as illustrated on shopcashback.co.uk.

All transactions are between you and the merchant and all enquiries regarding said transaction should be addressed to that merchant.

You need to be a registered member and logged in to shopcashback.co.uk to earn cashback on your transactions and any transactions will only be tracked when you have clicked on the relevant link from shopcashback.co.uk to the merchants website and subsequently made a purchase or other action for which cashback is payable. Orders made by telephone cannot be tracked by us or the merchant and as such only online transactions shall be eligible for cashback.

Any transactions qualifying for cashback will be tracked either by the relevant merchant or by a third party network. We will not be held responsible should the merchant or third party network's tracking of your transaction fail. In the event of a particular merchant or network either delaying or refusing payment we will do our best to recover your cashback amount, but the merchant's decision is final.

Any cashback amounts earned by you will be added to your account and be initially described as pending. Only when the merchant or network has confirmed that the transaction is valid and payment has been received by us will the transaction be described as validated. Occasionally cashback amounts may be deleted from your account, this could be due to the product being returned to the merchant or if the merchant decides that the transaction is invalid for some other reason.

'Instant Validation' only: Cashback earned from some of our merchants is validated straight away without being marked as pending. Only cashback which is less than £5 will be instantly validated, cashback of £5 or more will be treated as pending and only go to validated when we have received payment from the merchant. 'Instant Validation' cashback will be subject to our usual terms & conditions in all other respects. Any member who generates fraudulently aquired cashback is liable to have their account deleted and any monies withheld.

Cashback is paid to you at the beginning of every month as long as your validated account balance has reached the minimum payment threshold of £20.

We will only transfer cashback by BACS to your registered bank account or send cashback to your PayPal account if you have provided us with your valid UK postal address.

Legal

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions or any part of shopcashback.co.uk. If we modify the terms and conditions, we will post it on this page and from the date of posting, it will apply to all our members including the existing ones.

The terms and conditions of our services and any disputes if they arise shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England without reference to rules governing choice of laws. By joining as a member of shopcashback.co.uk you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and indemnify the owners of shopcashback.co.uk for any loss, expenses or damage caused by you breaching these terms and conditions.
