How do I earn cashback?

You need to register, then login with you username and password. You can then browse our partner merchants and click on links to the relevant shops. This will take you to the merchant's website where any purchases you make will be tracked. The retailer will then inform us of the transaction and we will add your cashback to your shopcashback.co.uk account.

Will you ask for my payment details?

No. Any purchases made by yourself are transactions between you and the retailer. We will NEVER ask for your credit card or other payment information.

Can I receive cashback by simply registering with a merchant's website or applying for a quotation?

Yes. Some merchants pay cashback when you request an insurance quote or apply for certain financial products or just by registering with the merchant's website.

Is there a limit as to how much cashback I can earn?

No. There is no upper limit as to how much cashback you are allowed to earn.

How do I refer friends to shopcashback.co.uk?

You can earn a £5 'refer bonus' for each friend that you refer to shopcashback.co.uk who then registers. For details of how to refer friends please visit 'My Account'.

Cashback

Why is a purchase I've made not showing in my account?

Some retailers will only pass the transaction amounts to us once every week or every month (the vast majority however, inform us of any transactions on a daily basis). Certain retailers operate a 14 day or 30 day returns policy for example, and will only inform us of a purchase after this length of time has passed.

If your cashback has not appeared in your account after 30 days, please contact us and we will do our best to claim the cashback from the merchant.

When will I receive my payment?

We pay cashback at the beginning of every month as long as you have reached the minimum payment level of £20.

How will I receive my cashback payments?

We will send payment direct to either your UK bank account or your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign-up for free at www.paypal.com.

I have reached the minimum payout level, but have not received my cashback, why?

This is most likely because you have not told us how you would like to be paid, or have not entered your payment details, or you have not added your UK address. Please login and make sure that you have entered your preferred payment method and your UK address.

How do I check my account balance?

Please login and go into your account area where you will be able to see your current balance as well as any cashback already paid.

I have waited 30 days and still cannot see the cashback in my account

Please contact us with as much detail as possible regarding your purchase, including the date of the transaction, the order number, the expected delivery date, and any other information which may be of help and we will contact the merchant and do our best to get your cashback credited to you.

Why has cashback been removed from my account balance?

This could be due to a variety of reasons, the most common being if the product you purchased has been returned to the retailer we are then unable to pay cashback on that particular transaction.
